It's been a long, long time since posting here. Like, 3-kids-born-and-a-non-music-business-begun-grown-and-sold Long. But here I am. Alive and well, surviving this global pandemic as I sincerely hope that you are, too. I've been thinking about my music from years ago, and thinking about new music... we all have a strange mix of lots of time and no time at all these pandemic days, don't we?
I also wanted to share something with you. My amazing husband
Eric Wolfson
recently published a book in the Bloomsbury Press 33 1/3 series about Elvis Presley's album, From Elvis in Memphis. It's a great read, both for Elvis fans and non-Elvis fans. Music critic and writer Greil Marcus (author of Mystery Train, Lipstick Traces, & The Old, Weird America: The World of Bob Dylan's Basement Tapes) says of Eric's book... "[A] fine piece of work that opens up the album in new ways." If you love Elvis, or have been curious about him, or even if you think you hate him, this could be a good read for you. I'm wishing you and yours well during these crazy times. The light at the end of this tunnel is starting to glow a little brighter!
